The Tablio Mini is the perfect lap desk. I've used a couple of lap desk and this on is the lightest and best designed. I'm using version 2 with the flush bottom and I love it for my MacBook Pro 15.
After a month of use I can easily say this mini desk is the best.
I went with version 2 in amber. The slide out sides are sturdy, no bending, it's easy to clean, store away and transport. If you need a lap desk, this is it, don't waste time with those plastic ones.

Excellent product - Tablio desk uses a clever design and is very well made and finished. Works perfectly with my Dell laptop with enough room for my phone and mouse. Looking forward to other items in the future.
Received my tablio today. Very well wrapped so it could 't be damaged by international postage. Inside the box a well finished tablio mini desk, it just looks great. But the most important thing, it works even better. On the couch or in bed i can now easily mouse away on my laptop.
The Tablio is sturdy, lightweight and comfortable to use.
My 15.4" laptop overhangs very slightly, but not enough to be an issue, and the slide out mouse and phone rests are good and strong.
