Alto Stand

The desk is great. Very neat and take very less space. Among all the products, I consider this one is the best. After using it intensively for some days, just one minor improvement from my experience, it would be better to have a safe lock to the keyboard tray so that it will not fall out easily especially when moving it left or right on the computer desk, it is usually, by instinct, pushing / pulling the tray which will make it falling apart. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. Thanks Alto team!

This is a beautiful stand, with a small footprint on any desk or table. It is easy to assemble and can be moved from office to home with ease. It has improved my work posture, as I am using it with a saddle chair. The only challenge I found is I have a MacBook Air, which is very light, so if I put too much weight on the keyboard shelf it will tip forward. Overall, great purchase!

I've had my stand for a few months now - I use it regularly and it is very easy to switch between it and my sitting desk. Also easy to put together and take apart for storage which is what I was looking for. Looks good too.
I'm 5'10" and ordered a large which seems to be the right size for me given shoes etc.
If it had a little place to put my cup of tea, it would be perfect ;-)

I have a brand new MacBook and it's smaller than specs for the stand but RLDH worked with me to do a little customization so that I could make the stand work. Best looking stand up I've found by a long shot. Sturdy, good looking, great lightweight design allows me to move it where I need it. I was thrilled when I found the Alto because I work remotely from my kitchen table. All I need is my laptop, so why bother with a full office. I need to move my stand everyday, so the Alto is great because it is small, lightweight, portable and easy to assemble/dissemble when needed. I do wish the keyboard tray was a bit deeper and came in an XL, but all the benefits out way that for me. I did a lot of research on stands and this was by far the best from a simplicity/cost/aesthetic standpoint.

After viewing different options for a standing desk, the Alto Stand was the best one for my needs. I like the idea that height is considered at the moment of making a choice. Thus, making a difference in how one is going to face the screen. Rodolfo e-mailed me to confirm the size of my stand before shipping, and I am thankful for that, great customer service. It resulted that it was better to change the size; otherwise, the screen would be below eye level. The order arrived in time and it was easy to assemble. The keyboard tray is great with a wireless keyboard and mice, and having the ability to move it up or down is a plus. I am more than satisfied with the Alto Stand; it gives my back a break after working in the office and going to school. Thank you Rodolfo, great product!

I work at a design firm and have been on the hunt for a nice looking standing desk that can sit on top of our existing tables. This product is so simple & beautiful and does exactly what you need. The height adjustability makes it easy to modify based on the type of shoes you're wearing that day which is a big bonus. I currently have one monitor on my standard desk, and one monitor on this stand so that I can switch from sitting to standing throughout the day.
Rodolfo was wonderful to work with when I emailed him with questions, and I can't wait to see what they come up with next! I cannot recommend this unit enough!

The Alto Stand is exactly what I was looking for! I've been using it for about a week and especially appreciate the small amount of space it takes up on my desk and the fact that I can easily move it to my home office. Make sure to find a small keyboard that will fit comfortably on the keyboard tray.

First off, I would like to say, what terrific customer service this company has. Truly a lost characteristic in today's business.
I am 5'4" and I purchased the small, I should have done as another reviewer and taken into account my standing mat and shoes. My mistake, but RLDH took care of me and made sure they worked with me to get the correct size. I now have the medium and it is perfect. It takes up so much less space, and now no neck pain from looking down all the time! I have been a "stand up desk" person for 4 years now and this is by far the best for my space and health. Truly appreciate the company and their support of me working out my size issue.

I absolutely love my birch laptop standing desk stand! I am 5'4, but considering shoes and an anti-fatigue mat, I ordered a medium. The keyboard platform has many height options and easily adjusts for the perfect typing position. I love the easy-to-construct design, and it's classy, sleek look. Much better than a clunky metal one! I highly recommend!

Hi, just wanted to say that I received the Alto Stand today and I love it!!!
It is incredibly easy to set it up and takes about just a few minutes (and this is coming from someone who is incredibly impatient when it comes to these things).

The product is solid- very strong and sturdy. I've put a 10 pound weight dumbbell on the keyboard plank (just for the fun of it) and everything seem solid. Its also really nice to look at.
I think the advertisement did pretty good justice of it.

There were also a few unexpected positives in the way its made:
-Because it is easy to set up and disassemble, I feel it can be pretty mobile. At work, I tend to change desks from time to time and the mobility really helps.
-I also use the keyboard plank as a laptop stand when I'm sitting down. Its not designed to be used this way but I feel its more comfortable than a laptop stand.
Think its one of my more fav products from kickstarter because everything went super smoothly (no delays/reliable/good communications/no negative surprises/etc...).
