Alto Stand Birch Duplex

Stylish, functional, and easy to put together. I was afraid my heavy desktop would prove to be too cumbersome for a minimalist standing desk, but I was proven wrong!

I love this product it is so light weight, easy to put together and stylish. Two things I would change. The large monitor is very close to face, it would be great to have an additional 2-4 inches on the top platform to move away from face. Large size- It'd be great to have a few more notches to meet all our household needs. Really I could use 2 additional notches to meet all surface level needs. Keyboard insert is amazing, and perfect size can even place a cup of coffee, or notebook on one side or on a busy day my lunch and eat while working. Overall great product and love it!

I’ve been using the Alto Stand Birch Duplex for a while now and must say that it’s been a great help in terms of improving my posture, keeping my energy and productivity levels up. They say sitting is the new smoking, and I can already tell the physical and mental benefits that being on my feet more is having. It also helps that it’s such an affordable product. If you’re using a desktop with a detached keyboard, I would highly recommend the additional Birch Keyboard Tray so that you’re able to optimally adjust its height and distance from the screen.

I've been using a standing desk at work for over two years. The Alto Stand is exactly what I needed for my home. The design is well though-out and the material is kept to a minimum making the desk light yet sturdy. I like that it is all plywood and there is no hardware or extra parts that may come loose over time. The quality and finish of the material exceeded my expectations. The phone groove is a great detail; I'll probably stick a couple of 3M Command cord clips for added cable management. Thanks!

This is my first standing desk set-up. I have the duplex unit - easy to unpack, simple to assemble, and very nicely finished - chamfered edges all around, etc. It performs as advertised - allows me to stand comfortably at a standard-height desk. I'm 5'6" and the unit is at the upper end of what's comfortable - vertical adjustment for the overall height of both pieces would be helpful. (the keyboard shelf is adjustable, and I'm on the lowest setting.) A couple cable management holes are a nice touch. Overall a good product - height adjustability is something I'd expect to pay more for. With that said, the product isn't inexpensive.

Since standing, I'd say my at-my-desk productivity has probably increased 20%. Whether this is a function of brain chemistry or whatever I'll leave to the experts -- but I am reducing the *hours* in my work week and getting the same work done.
